Discover Your Secret Hidden Talent

Discover Your Secret Hidden Talent Which You Have Been Using Since Age Five

Many of us are born into this world with talents and abilities. Some have the ability to work with numbers, others have talent to hit a ball and run, while still others are good caretakers. Many people choose various jobs and careers. Some times we look at other people and think, "Boy, aren't they lucky to be gifted with that talent and ability." We look at sports stars who are earning mega-million dollar contracts and inside we wish we were able to do the same thing.

Well, the great thing about being alive is that no matter where we were born, where we grew up, or what we are doing today as a job or career, we ALL have within us a Secret Hidden Talent!

Let's look closely at what that talent is, where it came from, and how it was developed. Many of us don't really remember things that occurred during the first five years of our lives. Regardless, right around the age of five we start to interact with people other than our families. Once we do, this interaction with new people stimulates our secret hidden talent to begin developing.

We go to school and hear the teacher read us a story about Jack and his dog who helped stop a fire. Then we go home and tell our Mom and Dad all about the story. Or, maybe we hear a funny joke that we just have to tell all of our friends.

Or maybe we are watching our favorite television show and see a commercial about the latest, hottest new toy. Of course, we tell Mom and Dad that we just have to get that new toy right away. Do we tell them ONCE? No way! We continue to tell them over and over and over about how great it will be if we had that toy right now. We even promise to clean our room or take out the trash for the next kazillion years if ONLY they will buy us that fantastic new toy. Sometimes it worked and they bought the toy. Regardless, during the whole interaction our secret hidden talent kept growing and getting better.

Now that you understand how you developed this secret hidden talent, you are probably asking, "What is this secret hidden talent?" Well, if you look at what was briefly described above, you will see that every one of us on the planet has been recommending and referring things we like to our family and our friends. Today you may no longer be telling family and friends about a toy you saw on the Saturday morning cartoons. But, you are telling them about your favorite restaurant, movies, cars, ball teams, vacation spots--you name it.

In fact, if you are an NFL football fan, many people are aware of "The Catch" that occurred during a game between the Steelers and the Raiders. If you watched that game, guess what you talked about on Monday morning at work. That's right - The Catch. You told everyone you knew about how lucky or talented Franco Harris was when he grabbed that ball and ran for a touchdown.

Or, maybe you went to a friend's wedding over the weekend and absolutely loved the arrangements, decorations, and brides maids dresses. Then you run into a friend who couldn't attend and you tell them all about how they should use the same wedding coordinator in their upcoming wedding.

What is the similarity in each of the above cases? You have told someone about a product, service, or event that you liked. This is your secret hidden talent. And, the more you tell others about products, services, or events, that you like, the better you get at it. In fact, you have been using this talent every day of your life since age five.

Amazingly, most people use this secret hidden talent every day of their lives not realizing that they can actually get paid for it. That's right, you heard correctly. You can get paid for this talent. Here's is an example that my good friend, Michael, shared with a taxi cab driver.

As he was riding from the airport to his hotel, he asked the cab driver for a recommendation about a good place to eat. Once the cab driver shared his opinion about the top eating spot, Michael asked for his name, which was Oliver. Michael then asked Oliver if after eating at the restaurant, he talked to the manager and told him that Oliver the cab driver recommended that he eat there, would the manager pay Oliver for the referral service by sending him a check at the end of the month. Oliver said "NO WAY!"

Michael then asked Oliver if he would like to find out how he could get paid for his secret hidden talent. Guess what Oliver's response was? That's right, he wanted to know more about getting paid for what he did every day.

You see, Michael, is one of the few who has been able to capitalize on his secret hidden talent and get paid for it. In fact he has been getting paid for it every day for over 20 years now. Amazing, isn't it? The fact is, many people around the world are recommending and referring things they like and getting paid for it. They may be recommending various products and services such as soap, air filters, water filters, nutritional products, cosmetics, computers, telecommunication services like long distance, pagers, cell phones, Internet, web pages, shopping malls, and on and on. These people simply tell others about products and services they like, and at the end of each month they receive a referral check.

Here is another story. I have another friend, who worked very hard for over 30 years and decided to retire from his job. Someone shared with him about his secret hidden talent and told him that he could choose to get paid for using it. He decided getting paid was a good idea. The interesting thing is that in only ten months, he was able to match the salary of his former job, which took thirty years to reach. Why? Because he decided to use his secret hidden talent AND get paid instead of being like most people who do the work anyway BUT don't get paid for it.

Would you like to know how you can get paid for something you are already doing every day?

Would you like to discover how to fully utilize your secret hidden talent TODAY?

Remember, most people use this secret hidden talent every day, they just don't get paid for it.

If you are ready to learn how you can get paid for using your secret hidden talent, then send me an email with your name and phone number. I will be happy to show you how to get started TODAY.

WORKING THE ANGLES

by Stephan Bourget

I've always been a big believer that there's "more than one way to skin a cat." When you go out here on the internet and claim, "I'm here to make people succeed," there's not much that's really unique about your voice. Even the serpent sold eve on the opportunity to get an intelligent advantage, so sincerity gets blurred by all the wolves in sheep's clothing.

One of the lowest blows I see proliferating the internet is specific promises of specific amounts of income, such as, "$2,000 per week guaranteed... $100,000 per year...Etc." These claims are NOT legal. Take a look at any infomercial promising income. They have to carry a disclaimer at the bottom that says, "These results are not typical. You could earn more or less. As with any business enterprise, it involves risk. Rewards are proportionate to an individual's effort. Results will vary."

NO ONE can guarantee an income to anyone else, unless they make that person a salaried employee. But, you're not being offered a salaried position, because that would involve too much bookkeeping, too much taxation, and too many laws from too many countries, states and provinces. Every offer is a simple independent contractor offer, which means, "If you do nothing, you will get nothing. If you get something, because you did something, you are responsible for your own taxes. The company accepts no liability for anything, other than the providing of product, opportunity, and commissions based on successful effort."

Now, does that make you feel like buying? Does that put you in the buying mood?

If you're like most people, that kind of talk turns you off. It takes you OUT of the buying mood. But, that IS the truth.

Anyone telling the truth is at a disadvantage, because people are 100 times more likely to buy a lie, than they are to buy the truth. Advertising has always understood this and has spent trillions glossing over the facts in case after case. Should come as no surprise to you. For example, which toothpaste would you buy? The one that says, "We finally got our toothpaste to stop causing ulcers and it might brighten your teeth a little if you brush three times a day -or- Our super-whitening formula removes plaque, we guarantee it!"

Naturally, you'd buy the second one, because it sounds better. But, the second one still causes stomach ulcers, doesn't whiten any better than the first one, and it's the plaque killing agent in the second one that increases the chances of stomach ulcers. What are you going to do? Ask to take advantage of their refund after 15 years of creating the conditions for a stomach ulcer? There's not even any way to prove that the condition wasn't caused by something else.

So, right away you think, "Well, we need more regulation." We've already tried that. No matter what regulations are passed, it somehow still keeps rolling around to "Caveat Emptor," Let The Buyer Beware.

I saw on the evening news here the other night, the Federal Trade Commission has announced it will be investigating all companies who are selling vitamins, potions, herbs, and meds on the internet, "due to wide-spread misrepresentation and fraudulent claims." Well, of course. How are you going to control the wild claims of distributors spreading whatever messages they want to, all over the internet? Don't know that I'm in favor of this FTC investigation, because their cure might be worse than the internet disease.

What does all this mean, then? Am I saying to go hide in your own little computer cave and take no chances? Of course NOT. Don't be such a chicken. You pay your money and take your chances, like anyone else. All I'm saying is to learn to manage your risk, make your expectations reasonable and don't believe in fairy tales.

Everyone is always disagreeing with everyone else. You can't get aggressive people to believe that someone else will build a downline for them and you can't get passive people to believe that personal initiative will do them any good. You're between the old "rock and a hard place, devil and the deep blue sea, damned if you do and damned if you don't."

So, what does all of this mean? Does it mean that network marketing doesn't work? Does it mean that all opportunities are scams? Of course not. That would be stupid.

Sales pitches should be "taken with a grain of salt" and risk should be accepted as part of the game. If someone or company wants to automatically recruit for you, it doesn't necessarily mean they won't. But, you will get all the results that PASSIVE MARKET produces. People have NO right to embrace the passive marketplace and then demand fast results. If the company has to do everything for everybody, then everybody should kick back and wait for the company's results to catch up with them.

In an AGGRESSIVE MARKET approach, the passive have NO right to join and expect to do nothing. They should NOT be offended by continual prodding to get their butts in gear. Anyone joining any network marketing company should be looking forward to their own LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. My goodness, not even a factory job will let you take home the bacon, without working your tail off for at least eight hours per day. Network marketing demands much less and the pay is higher, but the effort is NOT non-existant. Nothing in is usually nothing out.

People say they don't have time. But, they have time for eight or more hours per day working in a dead end job, hours of television, social events, drinking and partying, and a wide range of other things. But they don't have an hour per day to create a retirement income? A little time management would be a good thing here, wouldn't it?

"There's more than one way to skin a cat and where there's a will, there's a way." Life will tell you no, until life tells you yes. The people who get the yesses, are burning up the nos at a much faster rate. Rejection is the price of the sale. The people who get the sales are burning up rejections at a faster rate.

So, whether you use MonaVie to make a fortune and live the lifestyle of your dreams, or a little additional paycheck to pay your car or your house, you can be sure MonaVie is WORKING THE ANGLES and "MonaVie provides numerous opportunities for people to benefit financially."

Classified ads

Sometimes, I hear self-admitted statements of defeat, such as...

..I've placed a dozen ads, and I CAN'T do it!...
..If I can't make money right away, I'll quit...
..I'm going to quit because I CAN'T sponsor anyone...

In the interest of speed, I've developed many "generic" type responses to these letters.

However, after sending one such "generic" response today, I actually received a well thought reply.

The associate in question has been an associate for 3 months, and is highly frustrated with her lack of results. When answering her initial question ("...Why am I not getting any referrals...etc.) I first inquired as to where she had advertised, the tools she had used, has she tested her ads, how often had she posted etc.

She replied that she had been posting the same ads in the same places for 3 months and "STILL haven't seen any results! I post the ads over and over, but get nowhere..."

It has brought several thoughts to mind.

First....If you had eaten at a new restaurant and the food was absolutely horrible, how many time would you go back and try again?

Marketing (online or offline) is no different. Why on earth would you waste time posting ad after ad to these overused, saturated, rarely frequented free classified ad sites?

If you are advising your associates to post "hundreds" of ads a day to these sites, you are doing them a GREAT disservice. Shotgun marketing CAN produce results...but is the time expended worth the effort? I know there are some people who have built their downlines using 200-300 free ads a day. But, I'm here to tell you, 99% of people will not be willing to expend that much effort for the handful of prospects it will produce.

Instead, we need to start teaching our associates to work smarter, not harder.

In my answer to the above associate, I used the same analogy, and asked her if she had been keycoding her ads. She replied that keycoding takes too much time...

What?!? If you're not testing your ads (keycoding), not only are you WASTING a very valuable resource (which others on the net have to pay at least $17 a month to use...roibot, etc.) but YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME!

How so, she asked (at this point, we've switched to chat to save time. :-) )

Picture this scenario...you've been posting hundreds and hundreds of ads for weeks, with a scant handful of new affiliates produced. One morning, you wake up to find over 100 new personal referrals in your inbox..with more coming in by the minute. Where are they coming from, you wonder?? If you would have keycoded your ads, your days of posting hundreds of ads would be over, but since you've no idea...

The next issue she hit me with..."SO WHERE DO I ADVERTISE?!!"

I replied...If I were to tell every affiliate who asked me that question, go to this URL and post this ad..how long would that site remain a good source of affiliates.

Instead, let me tell you HOW to find a good place to advertise.

Go to all the major search engines..type in some keyphrases that people would use to find a home business (work at home, home business, home based business, etc.)

Take a look at the top 10 sites for each phrase. Make a note of the site title for each site, and its URL. Now go to the next engine and do the same. Visit AT LEAST 10 engines and use the same key phrases for each search. When you find 4-5 sites that consistently rank among the top 10, go to each site and see if they offer paid advertising of some kind. When you find one or two that do, THAT'S where you want to place your ad. Why? Because THEY ARE GETTING THE TARGETED TRAFFIC YOU NEED!

Her response...But I don't want to spend any money to build my business.

Ok, let's get real folks...Traffic-building, no matter how you cut it, will cost you...in terms of both time and money. Spending DOLLARS is optional, but spending TIME is not.

If you don't want to spend any money, that's fine. But then be prepared to spend the HUNDREDS of hours its going to take you to build any viable income.

"If I have to spend $$ to build it, then I'll have to quit.."

I understand, but before you go, let me ask you this. Do you want to own a business?

"Yes"

So you're going to open a restaurant or buy a similar franchise?

"No, that would cost too much."

You're right, somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500 thousand dollars. So, if not a franchise, what kind of business are you going to build?

"I want a home business so I can be home with my kids"

Ok, let me get this straight. You want a business, you don't want to have to buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff to get started, and you don't want to spend any money to build it..is that right?

"Yep, I just can't spend hundreds of dollars right now. Anything more than $50 a month would be a stretch!"

What if I could show you how to start building with $30 a month?

"Sounds ok, if it actually works."

Well, I can, IF you promise to reinvest EVERY cent of profit back into using the methods I teach you.

"Ok, I'll try it"

To make a long story short, folks...This member has get 150 new prospects this month, and has her first four members. She is now invigorated, enthused, and best of all, ON BOARD. She now realizes what her lack of action cost her (quote: "If I would have started this 3 months ago, I be making some REAL good Money now!")

If this were easy, we would all be getting thousands of new contacts every month. Its those that take the effort to LEARN that will always get the results.

Positively,

BELIEVING IS BETTER!

by Stephan Bourget

Sometimes it seems that the result of both belief versus doubt are the same. That is, a try at believing may at first bring disappointment or a negative result.

It is the peculiar domain of believing to test itself. A little believing is usually not enough. It takes a persistent, a sustained believing effort to influence outcomes.

Let's say you set a goal, "By June 1st of 2002, I will be collecting money from the internet at a rate of $100,000 per year." (Pick your own figure, but be specific. It defines the reality of your goal.)

Once the goal is accepted as fact, it then becomes a matter of providing the service, in exchange for the money. "This money is awaiting transfer to me in exchange for my service."

You may, at first, struggle to believe your goal. That's only natural. But, realize that the struggle to believe is believing giving birth to its positive power to grant your goal. Get determined.

The "magic" power of believing doesn't work without the struggle of determination. A mind made up is a powerful force for achievement.

Decide, once and for all, what your goal actually is, name the time limit for its acquisition, the specific amount you require, and the service you intend to give in exchange for the money.

Once you have fully accepted your goal as a fact, that it is "awaiting transfer to you," you will act in the manner that will pull that transfer toward you.

You may not realize it, but you turn thoughts into things all the time. You cannot name one thing that you do or have done that did not first originate in thought!

People achieve goals because they first set them, then "magnetize" the accomplishment of the goal by devoting the thoughts and subsequent efforts to achieve them.

Maybe it seems too wonderful for you! But, why should it? Others have done it. You can do it, too! They're no better of a human being than you are. Their secret is focus. So, you get focused, too!

Considering the rewards, BELIEVING IS BETTER!
