Why Now Is The Best Time To Change

WORDS OF WISDOM

*******************************

Here’s a bulletin from Robert Kiyosaki who is the best selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad:

WHY NOW IS THE BEST TIME TO CHANGE

A friend I flew with in Vietnam with called me the other day. He said, "I've been laid off again. What do I do now?"

Jim and I went through flight school and Vietnam together. When we returned to the states, he got a job as a pilot with the airlines and I began building my business. Jim was absolutely in love with his work. He loved flying and the company he worked for. Unfortunately, the company was with Pan American, which for those of you who are old enough to know that Pan Am went out of business, even though it was once the number one airline in America. After five years of taking odd jobs, he finally was rehired by an airline whose name I will not mention, because it is still in business today, but just barely. This is the airline he was laid off from.

"I'm 53 years old." said Jim. "I still have two kids in school. I have nothing saved for retirement. And worst of all, how am I going to find a job that pays me $85,000 a year, especially when all I know is to be a pilot?"

For those of you who have read my books or come to my seminars, you may know what I think about the idea of job security. I have said it for year, "Job security is an obsolete idea." The reason I say this is because the issue of job security was the issue for my parents, the World War II generation. My parents grew up in the Depression and to them, just finding a job was a challenge, so when they found one, they clung on to it for dear life. Once they retired, they did not have to worry because the government pension, Social Security, and Medicare were there to take care of them once they were through working. We do not have that luxury.

For those born after the WWII generation, job security is not an issue. The reason I say that job security is not an issue is because there are plenty of jobs. Always remember that McDonald's is always hiring. I still see help wanted signs everywhere. So the problem is not finding a job. It is long-term financial security that is the issue. The problem is long-term financial survival. For my friend Jim, a well-educated, highly skilled man, hard working man, the question is, where is he going to find another pilot's job that pays him what he needs when the airlines today, are downsizing? How will he continue to pay his mortgage, pay for his kid's college education, and put enough aside to retire on?

When Jim asked me for my advice, I said, "After you find a job, this time, why not start a part-time business?

"What kind of business?" he asked.

"Why not build a network marketing business in your spare time? Why not build something you control and you own?"

"No, no way." He said. "I just want a high paying job. I want to fly again. I'm not interesting in network marketing. But thanks for the advice. I'll call you back when I find a new job with another airline. I love flying and that is all I want to do."

Jim has not called back. It has been almost three weeks. Obviously, he did not like my advice but for you, I would like to give you the reason I offered him that advice. As I write, President Bush is in China and our military is in Afghanistan. If you cannot see the writing on the wall, let me open your eyes. The days of lifetime job security and your mutual funds going up by 20% per year are over. If you think your mutual funds will carry you after you retire, I think you had best make other plans. Why? Because what has just happened to my pilot friend Jim, will be happening to millions of people. The idea of high paying jobs and pension funds that increase by 20% per year is an obsolete idea. America is at war, battling an invisible enemy, an enemy without a country. On top of that, China is expected to pass the U.S. as a world financial power in less than ten years. It does not take a crystal ball to see that there will be plenty of jobs in America, but fewer and fewer will be high paying. Why? Because the Chinese are smart, hard working, and willing to be paid less. much less.

Jack Welch, the retired CEO of General Electric said recently, "20% to 30% of what is produced in America will soon be produced in China." In other words, in order to compete with China in the world economy, we must produce for less or lose. Highly skilled pilots like my friend Jim need to work for less, if they want to work. Pilots need to work for less, many other professions will need to work for less and produce more in order to survive. If you have been watching the news, between the stories of Anthrax and President Bush in China, you may have caught a glimpse of Bill Gates and other American business leaders shaking hands with the Chinese. Let me say this, these leaders of American business are not there because they like Chinese food.

The reason I suggested that my friend Jim start a network marketing business on the side is because becoming a business owner is a very wise strategy, especially at this time in history. Starting your own business gives back some control over your life. If you think your boss or company can protect you from the geopolitical forces that are at play today, I think you need to rethink that thought. There is an old song that said, "For you better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone, for the times they are a changing." Our leaders are in China, not in the war zone. That should tell you how much things are going to change and change soon.

The reason I recommend network marketing is because network marketing is the business of the future. Back in the late 1990's, it was often difficult to talk to people about network marketing when the economy was so strong. It was hard to talk to people about network marketing when their mutual funds were going up by 20% per year. But those days are over. If you ever wanted to get ahead of the curve, now is the time to open your mind and look at this business of the future. Now is the time to talk to people when they too are looking for new answers and new ways to find true long-term financial security. A network marketing business is one of the asset classes. It is a business. If you work hard and build the business, that business will give you the excess cash to acquire the real estate and stocks that will give you true long term financial security.security you can pass on to your loved ones. You can't do that with your job, no matter how secure it is.

My friend Jim the airline pilot is also a casualty of the September 11th event. The problem is, he is not willing to make changes. My prediction is that for employees who are well educated, well trained and ambitious, the next few years will be tough ones. Why? Because well-educated, ambitious, high paid employees are often the first to be downsized and once down sized, they often find it harder to find a job at the pay scale they were use to. In the Industrial Age, if you were well educated, hard working, and experienced, you were desirable. In the Information Age, experience and age are liabilities, not assets. So with each passing year, it gets harder to re-enter the job force and find a high paying job in the new economy. As my rich dad often said, "The rules have changed. If you want to do well, change with the rules." Unfortunately, we are in time of crisis. None-the-less, for the brave at heart, now is the time to make changes, changes that will give you life time financial security which is far better than job security.

Show Me The Money!

I just wanted to send you a quick note on a chapter I was reading today in a book from my good friend Joe Vitale. I think this short excerpt will help you understand what the Success Team Builders are all about. Take time to read this and then ask yourself, where is your focus?

I believe this short chapter will reveal to you why we say that we are "Mentors With A Servant's Heart".

To Your Success,

Stephan Bourget, Consultant

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Show Me The Money!

Am I the only one who really saw the movie Jerry McGuire?

That hit movie starring Tom Cruise had everyone repeating the famous line, Show me the money!

I didn’t watch the movie for nearly one year after it was released because I thought it was all about greed. Since everyone who saw the movie smiled and repeated that one line --- Show me the money! --- as if it were some sort of national mantra, I wasn’t interested.

But then one day Nerissa and I wanted to watch something on television. As luck would have it, Jerry McGuire was coming on the tube right about then. So we settled in to watch it.

I was amazed. The movie wasn’t about greed at all. Yes, Jerry came from a money-hungry place, but he soon learned that that mindset wasn’t going to work.

Greed was out.
Greed was a dead-end street.
Greed led to a spirit of poverty.

Instead, Jerry the sports agent learns about the power of passion. When he truly starts to care for his client, to look for and activate the heart in the one player he represents (who does the same for him), then and only then does he start to taste real success and start to experience real happiness.

Oh, there’s no doubt the refrain Show me the money! is a catchy one. It’s done so well in the movie, and said so often, and delivered with such upbeat emotion in the one unforgettable scene, that you can’t help but remember it.

But that’s not what the movie is about. Not to me. The movie is about show me your heart, not show me your money.

Giving is like that.

If you give because you want money, you are not giving but simply trading.

If you give because your heart sings to do so, then you are truly giving.

It’s the difference between Show me the money! and Show me your heart..

The universe responds to your heart, not your money. The money is just a symbol.

Give money from your heart. When you do, very quickly and in the most surprising ways, the universe itself will then Show you the money!

But don’t give to get. Don’t give as a negotiation with the universe.

Give to give!

ARE YOU LOOKING?

We are looking for people who are looking - people with vision - who want to accomplish the dreams of their lives.

Hardworking people who are already busy and successful are the best prospects for our business concept.

Most people are very open to look at an exciting business concept, ours being without doubt the very best business concept in the world, that will enable them reach their goals in 2 to 5 years.

May I ask you a question?

How would you like to be in your very own successful business, be your own boss, set your own time and income?

Well, I recently struck gold by being hooked up with some very wealthy businessmen who introduced me to their lucrative business concept.

May I share with you 6 quick things about our unique business concept, after which you'll be able to make an informed decision if we and our spouses need to get together to further discuss it.

1. Our business concept will give you the opportunity to be in business for yourself.

You'll never get rich working for someone else.

The person you work for controls your life, time and financial choices - your future. We all need to get the control of our destiny back into our own hands.

2. Our business concept can fit into anyone's busy schedule.

You decide how many hours a week you're going to devote to this business concept - anyone who really wants financial freedom can re-prioritize several hours a week without affecting his current job/s.

You decide how fast or slow your business will grow.

You decide if you'll be financially free in 2 or 5 years time.

Add 5 years to your age - would you like to be financially free by then or work for the rest of your life, only to earn a ¼ of your income at 65? That's the reality of what's happening to 95% of retirees.

3. With our business concept you don't need a prior education or special training.

You learn as you go with on-the-job training from your successful sponsor and his successful mentor, who are committed to spend their time and money to make you successful.

They will train you in the 8 universal proven steps of success - one step at a time.

Literally 1000's of millionaires over the last 43 years have discovered that these exact steps brought them into an exciting world of financial freedom.

As you master each simple step, you'll be trained in the next step.

4. With our business concept you can get in for an insignificant capital investment.

95% of people work for someone else.

In a large survey, 80% of them said they would rather work for themselves, but don't because of 3 things...

i. They don't have the capital and if they did they probably wouldn't be brave enough to risk it.

ii. They don't have the education and training to run their own business.

iii. They wouldn't dare give up their current safe income for an unknown venture.

Well, these first 4 points have already eliminated the 3 main objections the majority of people have, who would like to be in business for themselves.

5. Almost all jobs have a floor and ceiling income.

In a regular job you'll never earn less than the minimum income, but with that security sadly comes a ceiling - usually a fairly low one.

With our business concept the floor is taken away, but so is the ceiling - you can earn nothing or everything - it's up to you.

It is not a get rich quick scheme.

You'll have to put in time and effort to succeed - there is no free ride.

100% of non-quitters succeed.

You'll be paid exceptionally well for the effort you put in.

6. Our business concept offers a very reliable residual income that your grand children can inherit.

Regular jobs pay you only once for this months effort - the day you stop working, the money stops coming in.

You have to repeat each months effort for the rest of your life to keep bread on the table.

With our business concept each month's effort will be re-earned for the rest of your life.

Each years effort is added onto the previous years efforts, giving you an ever escalating income.

During a month of vacation you'll continue to earn every previous month's efforts - as you will, should you be incapacitated for a period of time - which gives tremendous security.

THE SECRET OF SUCCESS...

...is not a secret - because so many successful people have revealed their success in a book or on a tape - and they're all saying the same thing.

Everyone of them took stock of where they were, dreamed a dream, set a goal of when they'd get there and found the right vehicle to get them there - 99% of the time it wasn't their current job.

I know my current vehicle will not accomplish my dream and get me to my goal.

I'm so glad that after many years of searching, I KNOW I've finally found the right reliable vehicle that WILL DEFINITELY get me to my destination - because it's already done it for so many 1000's of people over the last 43 years.

ILLUSTRATION: If you want to cross rugged Africa in a VW Beetle you won't make it. You need a superior vehicle - like a 4x4 Land Rover.

Tiger Woods activated the secret of success at 5 years of age when he was already a par golfer. He put it on record in front of a camera that he'd be the next Jack Nicholas at 20 years of age - he did by earning the coveted Green Jacket by winning his first major - The Masters at Augusta, Georgia, U.S.A.

Most people get up everyday and re-run the same no-win race over and over for 40 years to earn the reward of taking a 50% to 75% slash in pay.

Don't do that! Activate the secret of success.

Shoot for a noble goal - something worth more than money.

True fulfillment comes from finding something you love to do, and if you can be paid well for doing it, it's a bonus.

The secret of success will work for you if you can discover a passion worth shooting for in life.

People are not tired - they're uninspired.

You'll suddenly have all kinds of energy once you're working toward fulfilling your dream.

Shoot for something noble like...

i. Financial freedom - giving you the time and money to accomplish your dream.

ii. Getting your wife home from work to be with the kids and then the husband as well.

iii. Really supporting a charity or mission close to your heart - one that you'll even have the time to get involved in.

Financial freedom gives you choices that 95% of people don't have - where and how long you'll go on vacation, where you'll live, what you'll drive, what you'll wear, etc.

I'm definitely going there - I know every winner who sees this business concept will too - let's make an urgent appointment for you to see the plan of this very best business concept for financial freedom!

PREPARING FOR THE COMING DEPRESSION

Michel de Nostradamus, in 1568 predicted the coming of the Third Anti-Christ in July 1999. On the eve of the new millennium thousands awaited the end of the world.

The fact is that for centuries, many people have predicted that the world would change dramatically around the year 2000.

After the World Trade Center event, I believe the question most of us should really be asking is how do people predict the future?

Two of my favorite authors are James Dale Davidson and Lord William Rees-Mogg. They are highly respected economic historians. Long before the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993, they were talking about terrorist attacks in America. In their book The Great Reckoning, they are predicting worldwide depression and how we should all prepare for it. Even if you do not believe in people being able to predict the future, I do believe you owe it to yourself, to get that book and read it. I think it will open your eyes and maybe get you on the right track, the track of doing well, regardless if their predictions are right or way off base. The real question is, if a depression does come, are you prepared for it?

How will you do if there is a depression? Will you and your loved one do well or will you go down with the millions of people who are not prepared.
Now, I am not saying that a depression is coming. The point of this article is that after reading their books, my wife Kim and I used their words of warning and began preparing for the coming economy, good or bad. At first their words of depression frightened us, but if you recall my first bulletin, I stated that the future is seen through the bad news, not the good news. Because of these author’s warnings, we used our fear to get stronger rather than run in fear or pooh-pooh their words of caution. Kim and I have been in preparation for over 8 years now. It has been one of the best financial decisions of our lives. Their words of warning caused us to become even more diligent and better educated. The reason I write these articles and pose such questions is to have you ask yourself, how will you do if there is a depression? Will you and your loved one do well or will you go down with the millions of people who are not prepared, if there is a depression?

The following are 5 points via which you can gauge your preparedness. They are:

1. Do you have enough in savings to cover two years worth of expenses?

2. Do you have gold coins, equivalent to six months living expenses in a safe deposit box? The coins are a hedge just in case the currency of the U.S. begins to greatly devalue.

3. How are you debt to equity ratios? For example, if your house is worth $100,000 a 1:1 debt to equity ratio would mean you $50,000 in equity in the house and a $50,000 mortgage.

4. Is your business or the company you work for going to do well in a depression? If not, start a part time business. Our businesses are designed to do well in a good economy and do even better in a depression. A part-time business that will do well in a down economy is a network marketing business. During a depression, many more people will be very receptive to joining a network marketing company.

5. Do you have the technical skills to be an investor? Do you know how to buy real estate, stock
options, and grow a business? Do you also have the financial resources or financial backers that will provide the money to begin investing when stocks, real estate, and businesses are available for bargain prices?

The main point is this. Even if a depression does not occur, to be this prepared is a sound way to manage your life and your investments. After reading The Great Reckoning, Kim and I began to put our personal and business finances in order. Because of this, we have done very well when the economy was good and are prepared to do well in a bad economy.

You see, it does not really matter if Nostradamus was right or if the prediction of a depression comes true. The real question is how prepared are you for whatever happens, and that is what matters most.
I realize that for some of you, these five points may seem like a tall order, yet I assure you it can be done with a little planning, dedication, and education. If you are ready to improve your education and be better able to implement all five points in your life, then you may want to attend our 3 Day in Phoenix. For those of you already attending, congratulations. You will leave the 3 Day better prepared to meet the challenges of the coming years, which are predicted to be financially tough ones. You see it does not really matter if Nostradamus was right or if the prediction of a depression comes true. The real question is how prepared are you for whatever happens, and that is what matters most.

The good news is that when times become tough, you have the opportunity to bring out of you the person that is strong and resilient. I am confident that inside each and every one of us, is a person capable of meeting any challenge that life puts in front of us. My rich dad often reminded me that in such times of uncertainty, the greatness in people shines through. In the next few years, look forward to the challenges and let the greatness inside of you come through.

The future is very bright for those that are prepared for it. We at Richdad.com and Red Rock Events wish you the brightest of financial future, regardless which way the future goes.

All the best,

Robert Kiyosaki

How To Accomplish Long Term Success

Are you taking baby steps? Long-term success is accomplished in small steps, not large ones. Many people will send you advertisements with promises that you will make $10,000 or more in 30, 60, and 90 days. The sad fact is that exaggerated advertisements like these are very effective at appealing to the greed factor.

As a result, far too many people jump into bogus business opportunities without ever checking them out. They just blindly jump in without ever knowing what they are doing. Many people have never owned a business, never been a manager, or been involved in sales of any kind. They run out, buy a distributor kit for $50, and bingo, they are now owners of a part-time business that is supposed to make them RICH!

The Internet is quickly becoming filled with so much hype and greed, it is hard to know who to trust. We encourage you to take baby steps when starting your own part-time business. The first thing you should do is start out by getting trained. If you never owned a business, how will you know what to do? What is your business plan? Do you have a marketing plan? How will you be successful? What is your competition doing, and how will you compete and win? What products or services have a good chance of making it in today's marketplace?

You see education is the most important ingredient. In fact it is so valuable that people cannot take it away from you once you learn it, even if you end up destitute and on the street for a while. If you have the knowledge to start a successful business, you can do it over and over and over again.

Where do you get this knowledge, and how long will it take? Good question. You could go to night school at your local college and take some business courses. Many people do. However, here is a question you should ask of any professor or instructor? "How many businesses have you started?" If they say zero, zip, nada, ask yourself if this is who you want as your mentor.

What you need to do is look for people who have started a successful business. People who can provide you with the training you need on an on-going basis. Training that is updated and works today. Not some outdated book with old, extinct information. Things in the information age change so rapidly that once they end up in a traditional book they are probably outdated. You need current, relevant knowledge at your fingertips for doing business TODAY.

Would you like to have a complete turn-key system that you can plug into, and even find a way to use this system for FREE? If so, email us your name, phone number, and the best time to call and we will show you how to get started TODAY! CLICK HERE

Stephan Bourget's Bio Page

Hi! My name is Stephan, I'm 28 years old and I live in Beauport near Quebec City, Canada. My main language is French, and my second one is English.

After high school, I got an International Baccalaureate in Sciences, with a specialization in French literature, English and Physics. I did it at Petit Séminaire de Québec (Collège François-de-Laval), Quebec City, instead of the regular Cegep's program. The other matters I studied was chemistry, biology, mathematics, physical education, philosophy and knowledge theory. It was an international program supervised by the International Baccalaureate Office (IBO), which is linked to the United Nations Organization. The program is given in many countries around the world and is recognized by over 600 universities around the world.

Since the second year of my International Baccalaureate, I was sleeping less and less, reaching an average of 4 hours a night, sometimes none on my first year at University, then going back to 6 hours a night when I decided to do it in four years instead of three. But by the end of my baccalaureate in Physics, although I have always loved that matter, I decided to get a break because I was noticing other aspects of my life were suffering due to the lack of balance. I was 23, I was tired, I was losing my harmony and I had no social life since I left high school (although very limited during high school also), being a bookworm always in his readings and studies. My spiritual life was also suffering, lacking the time (or maybe not taking it, everyone having 24 hours a day but not the same priorities) to meditate on my place in the Universe.

I was introduced to the prosumerism industry about that time, when I finished University, while I was looking for a summer job. It was not a job, but much better. A new future has been revealed to me, a future that I could take control of in order to achieve my goals and dreams the way I would want to. Everything "clicked" the first time, and I got the vision. I saw the extraordinary potential of this business for myself and others, although my analytic temperament made me take a week to read everything before giving a decision that I had already made the first evening. To get started with no longer waiting was the best decision I could have ever made.

I fell in love with this industry, and a new life of happiness, friendship, passion, discovery and fulfillment has begun since then. I decided that I wanted to take responsibility for my life and my research financing by starting my own home-based business. Also, I always have been concerned for others and that kind of business would let me help others in a great way so I would get a sense of fulfillment in my life. Finally, I found there an opportunity for me to develop myself internally, and I must say that even if I wouldn't have made any penny, just that would have been worth millions.

Because of this business, I'm now more sociable and more balanced. Of course, I still and will always have personal development to make. Achievement is a path that lasts a lifetime. But so much has already been made since my years of schooling. It's awesome. I now have a lot of new friends in different regions that I really care about and that occupies a place in my heart. I'm devoted to their success first as long as they are sincere and willing. My joy comes from seeing them developing themselves and becoming happier. I'm there to make dreams come true.

My only regret is to see so many other people living a painful life and closing their mind to possibilities of getting out of it. This is so simple, although not easy. After all, I believe the biggest challenge of human beings is to change their mindset, their internal programming. But once it is done, everything is possible. Everyone can live a life of abundance, but the work must begins inside of everyone before radiating outward. By living a life of purpose, giving and loving all the time, you get a feeling of fulfillment that brings abundance to you which allows you to give even more. My wish would be that more people understand that.

Of course, I've had to overcome challenges along the road. Success must be built in your mind before getting it in the physical world. I'm grateful to my advisors who helped me improving my self-confidence and communication skills. The first several months, I wouldn't talk to a single person over the telephone and I would try to do everything by email, in foreign countries so for sure I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I lost many months of business growth because of that, but now I can help my associates to avoid these mistakes would that happen they would start at the same point I was. Today, I'm glad to take the phone and call somebody, and although I develop internationally, this is not a consequence of avoiding local people. You see, relationships is the key in this business, and this can be build either through phone, or even better in person.

So after a while I began talking to people, and I really mean talking. That's when my business began to grow and it never stopped since. What I observed is that your growth is directly proportional to your personal development. So don't expect to get in and get rich quick. This is not the way it works, and you would start with the wrong mindset. Do you want your time and financial freedom? Do you want to get out of the Rat Race? Are you fed up not to have control over your life? How bad do you really want to get out of your present life to build a life of purpose and abundance? Well, commit yourself for 1 to 5 years, work on yourself again and again, make mistakes, help others genuinely and give the best of yourself consistently, for whatever time you make available on a weekly basis. Then things will come to you, tenfold and more. You'll live the life of your dream, or at least get out of the life you live right now, depending on your actual goals and objectives that are good whatever they are since they are yours.

To continue my story, during last months I became a Consultant to the Prosumerism industry and to referral marketers in general, in addition to be a Prosumer myself. Also, I have taught a prosumerism class at college. Now people come to me to know how to grow their business. Of course I still have a lot to learn and improve - everyone has. But I also have a team of very experienced 6-figure and 7-figure income professionals, and a system that is in place to teach people the right things to do. If you are already a home-based business owner, even if you're not a Prosumer, contact me - I might be able to help you, and by the way I don't charge anything. I believe in giving. Life brings back to us what we give to others.

By now, you should know a little more about myself. Ultimately, I plan to become a sophisticated investor and to come back to research in cosmology and a few other fields, at my own pace. I have plans with an associate who also is a scientist to open a research center. But prosumerism will always stay a priority for myself as a mean to provide wellness to others, would it be through health and/or wealth. And I'm committed to work on myself and to become a better leader and a better person as time goes on. Overall, all these goals and dreams of mine converge toward a single thing that has always been vivid in my heart while not really expressed during my hard times of the past: helping others around myself getting their freedom, helping humanity getting better. That is the real purpose of everything.

There is so much, outside of money, that prosumerism can bring to you. I hope you'll become part of this fantastic project and allow me to better know you so we can become true friends, not just business associates, and travel the world together helping others to help themselves.

I wish you the best.

P.A.F. (Peace, Love, Fraternity)

Stephan
