Discover Your Secret Hidden Talent Which You Have Been Using Since Age Five

Many of us are born into this world with talents and abilities. Some have the ability to work with numbers, others have talent to hit a ball and run, while still others are good caretakers. Many people choose various jobs and careers. Some times we look at other people and think, "Boy, aren't they lucky to be gifted with that talent and ability." We look at sports stars who are earning mega-million dollar contracts and inside we wish we were able to do the same thing.

Well, the great thing about being alive is that no matter where we were born, where we grew up, or what we are doing today as a job or career, we ALL have within us a Secret Hidden Talent!

Let's look closely at what that talent is, where it came from, and how it was developed. Many of us don't really remember things that occurred during the first five years of our lives. Regardless, right around the age of five we start to interact with people other than our families. Once we do, this interaction with new people stimulates our secret hidden talent to begin developing.

We go to school and hear the teacher read us a story about Jack and his dog who helped stop a fire. Then we go home and tell our Mom and Dad all about the story. Or, maybe we hear a funny joke that we just have to tell all of our friends.

Or maybe we are watching our favorite television show and see a commercial about the latest, hottest new toy. Of course, we tell Mom and Dad that we just have to get that new toy right away. Do we tell them ONCE? No way! We continue to tell them over and over and over about how great it will be if we had that toy right now. We even promise to clean our room or take out the trash for the next kazillion years if ONLY they will buy us that fantastic new toy. Sometimes it worked and they bought the toy. Regardless, during the whole interaction our secret hidden talent kept growing and getting better.

Now that you understand how you developed this secret hidden talent, you are probably asking, "What is this secret hidden talent?" Well, if you look at what was briefly described above, you will see that every one of us on the planet has been recommending and referring things we like to our family and our friends. Today you may no longer be telling family and friends about a toy you saw on the Saturday morning cartoons. But, you are telling them about your favorite restaurant, movies, cars, ball teams, vacation spots--you name it.

In fact, if you are an NFL football fan, many people are aware of "The Catch" that occurred during a game between the Steelers and the Raiders. If you watched that game, guess what you talked about on Monday morning at work. That's right - The Catch. You told everyone you knew about how lucky or talented Franco Harris was when he grabbed that ball and ran for a touchdown.

Or, maybe you went to a friend's wedding over the weekend and absolutely loved the arrangements, decorations, and brides maids dresses. Then you run into a friend who couldn't attend and you tell them all about how they should use the same wedding coordinator in their upcoming wedding.

What is the similarity in each of the above cases? You have told someone about a product, service, or event that you liked. This is your secret hidden talent. And, the more you tell others about products, services, or events, that you like, the better you get at it. In fact, you have been using this talent every day of your life since age five.

Oliver said "NO WAY!"
