Answer the Money Quiz

When it comes to money matters, how do you rate? To find out if you have any "cents" at all, invest a little time in this quiz:

1. Contemplating your financial future makes:

a) Your heart expand with hope.
b) You smile and say, "The Universe will take care of its own."
c) You blurt out, "Who cares! Life is short...let's go shopping!"
d) You run down to the local mall and buy an econo-size bottle of anti-acid.

2. You find a letter from a collection agency in the mail. Your gut reaction is:

a) ''Odd. How on earth could there be a bill I overlooked?''
b) To bury it under a pile of other unpaid bills and pretend it doesn't exist.
c) ''Hmm, this must be meant for another Clarence K. Crumbwhacker.''
d) A certain secret pleasure in suffering at the hands of the evil corporate Goliaths.

3. Budgets are:

a) Vitally important! How can you possibly manage without a formalized game plan?
b) Fine for some folks, but not worth the time and energy to figure them out, follow them through, review them, yada yada yada.
c) A joke. No one can really hold to them.
d) Beneath you. There are more important things to do like feeding homeless cats.

4. Your great-great Aunt Matilda leaves you a healthy inheritance. You immediately:

a) Invest it cautiously while telling everyone in your family that there will be no holiday festivities this December.
b) Have no idea what to do with it, so you put it into a "safe" bank account that pays you 3 cents interest per year and deducts $25 in service charges per month.
c) Start dancing around the kitchen because finally you can get anything you want.
d) Get rid of it as quickly as possible by giving generously to cash-strapped friends.

To determine your financial personality simply tally up your answers. If you mostly get A's, B's, C's or D's, then you have a clearly defined financial personality. If your answers are split you probably share traits with more than one financial personality type.

What? You wanted the whole answer now? Tell me the letter you answered most often and I'll tell you who you are.
